Madrone Wall and Carver Cliff Guidebook

Its finally here!! Madrone Wall is finally open as of 10/21/2017, after 20 years of being closed to public access! Thanks to the hard and relentless work of the Madrone Wall Preservation Committee, the beautiful and excellent climbing at Madrone is finally accessible to climbers again as a county park. Almost all the routes there have updated bolts and anchors, and new trails have been built, as well as maintained parking lot and bathroom facilities. There is a parking fee of $5 now, or you can order an annual pass through the county website.
We are now releasing the new guidebook as well, and it features the climbing at Madrone, as well as the climbing just down the road at Carver Cliff (which is a private cliff that you need to have purchased a pass to access).

You can get the guidebook at the Rakkup website, or via the app on your smartphone. Make sure to download it so you have the latest Madrone Wall and Carver Cliff updates, access notes and trails!
Below are a few photos of the routes at Madrone from when rebolting was going on this past summer. Photos are by Sam Wilson.
